For those of you guy who are going with kits, like Daveh what are you doing abt the fact that intercooler piping is not included?
How much is costing to get pipes made, who all offers piping kits for front mounts?
We have several places local to me that make IC pipes for custom applications, you should look around and see if such places are where you live. Here is one of the places locally http://www.racerelated.com
I would rather get the BL pipes and with little modification you could make them work

I bought three 45's, 1 90, 1 180, and three feet of straight pipe.. and that got me from the turbo to the fmic back up through the fender.. then i had stock tt hose and pipe and another hose to the throttle body, hope this helps.

I just had my custom made by Dynoxtreme, it was $400 including installation and mounting the FMIC.
You can probably have someone fabricate the pipings for you locally.
two bits of advice on intercooler piping:
1) Settle ONLY for mandrel bent piping (the little 45 and 90deg piping is fine if its mandrel bent - ie same radius throughout the bend)
2) Make sure your piping has beaded ends, it will keep the couplers from popping off under boost. If you dont have bead-rolled ends, you will have problems with IC piping popping off. I did :)
The boostlogic setup is nice, its affordable, and it works very well. Its a nice sized intercooler, has beautiful piping with 2.5" sizing and great bends with bead-rolled piping. Cant go wrong with it.
BL IC piping is nice but plan ahead! The design is for a stock NA/SC3 and it routes around the sway bar. I'm told that this is to avoid radiator piping.
If you use a bigger front bar (i.e the tt bar) fitment is very tight. If you upgrade to a tt radiator there is a straight path that does not need to wind around the sway bar. This involves 1 custom IC pipe and a modification of another as supplied by BL.
With used tt radiators at a $100 or less this is a great time to upgrade and simplify your IC piping for the future.

What's the price on the BL FMIC kit? Also does anyone in the DC metro area know of any shops that do mandrel bending?

if you bought the fmic from bl, maybe they could sell the bends you need too. :dunno:

I thought BL sold the FMIC kit seperately including pipes. I was asking about the mandrel for my exhaust.

ya, when i did the install of the Bl intercooler piping i had the same problem of pipes not fitting all the way, what i did was kinda play with the pipping, you can either flip the last two intercooler pipping that goes to the drivers side of the front mount, it kinda sags but i got a longer hose clamp and it went on pretty well
