I've got a TC just sitting in my garage, and a couple other gear-head buddies and myself were gonna to try install is after x-mas. Has anybody on here done this (or something similiar, like a tranny swap)? One of the guys helping know what he's doing, but I don't, and this concerns me... well, if I'm told what to do I can do it, but I couldn't do this on my own. I'd REALLY like to have an idea of what to do before jumping in, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me some feedback. Thanks!
Well I've never done it before; but its not that difficult honestly. Its even more simple than a clutch install.
Essentially you've got the flex plate (which is like a flywheel) the TC and then the tranny...
Install of the new unit is opposite of removal; if you pay attention and label the bolts and stuff, you could easily do it yourself... and if you've got a guy that knows how to do it, then you'll be fine.

That's kinda what I figured, since I've never done it and all, I didn't know if I was missing something, or if I should expect a certain part to be difficult. Thanks Bean!

make sure ur buddy knows that once u slide the tc on to the tranny that it goes in additional 3 times by turning it side to side.
