Differential options

What would be the options for my mkiv non turbo, diff wise? TT ones will not work cause of different ratios and would not mate good with w58. Anyone?

Hi there,
changing you diff wont alter your ratio, its the crown wheel and pinion that decide your ratio.

You can use a TRD diff for the n/a or you can use the TT auto diff or you can use the A01B that was an option for the n/a. :)

which on is better? :) Can I order TRD from a dealer?

The TRD diff is hands down the winner as it is a proper mechanical gear type LSD rather than the weaker torsen type. Altho the torsen should be fine for most people, I wouldnt use it for high power drag cars though as BIG launches will kill one pretty quickly.

Im sure MVP sell them but I know definitely that my local toyota dealer sells them for $1395 NDZ which is cheaper than most US ones ive seen but you will have to pay freight.
