98 supra vs. is300 vvt-i and sc300 vvt-i

If the 98 supra has the same engine as the is-300 and the sc300 98+ models why is it so hard to turbo charge the supra. I see many turbo charged is300's on this website so why is it any different for the supra?

can you rephrase the question, to my knowledge you can turbo a supra :lol: are you only talking about the vvti?
