I had the Superstreet article on hold for a couple of years before it came out last month. Ive been building the Lexus for a while but I wanted the 'car' to be the focus of the article. So I built and rebuilt it till I felt it was really worthy of an article on its own.

over the last couple of days Ive had more mags contact me about shooting again.

I guess the best way would to be to build a car and send images to magazines to see if they'll bite on it.

The 'clear hood' is an effect that the photographer did. Heres a picture of what the hood and trunk really look like:

holy shit ur car looks hella better, not that it didnt look good before but damn that color is kick ass, but im wondering about the drivers side head light why the cover? booo its an auto!!! ah well alot of my freinds have auto cars im finding out so i wont hate on them any longer...i love photo editing, i wasnt sure if ur hood was lagit or if it was a photoshop kinda deal, either way sexy 24/7 is what u got on ur hands AND leather interior id kill for that! and that last link is good, just the hair was all up in the face, i say redo and use my car!!!! you'll help it look better since its stock :( Good Luck on getting into more mags, ill go out and buy it tomorrow just to show my respect

yea i like that car ALOT with the rims from the shot, the other hyper silver (?) just dont cut it in my mind, is the side stuff paint or sticker?

what all do u still have to get on ur auto-5 speed? maybe we can all keep our eyes out for what u dont have to help a brother out u know....errrr sister out rather lol. G/L with that 5 speed, but i say u sell it for show car price and get a hella mean Single turbo supra and walk me and half the guys on this site.

The Silver mesh rims were on Sponsorship in exchange for letting them use my car for a show. The patterns on the side are painted. They used to be lighter but the car got hit and needed to be completely stripped and repainted. http://driftgirl.org/stuff2/121.psd.jpg

Ive got a tranny, pedals and bellhousing with adapter plate in storage someplace. it was a work in progress....

If I ever find the right Supra. I think everyone here will have credit in building it. :) I like this site because its not full of 'elitist attitudes'...makes for a better place to talk and learn.

thanks! I got my lil hands on a few of the images that the photographer took that didnt make it into the magazine. They like to keep the girls and cars seperate LoL!! That is me in the main picture sliding the car around tho ;)

I'll see what other pictures he can send me. I dont have many of the engine,Interior or trunk :(

Hahah, ok , I was wondering about that hood... I thought it was photoshopped untill DOHC said something and my jaw dropped like "No fucking way...!". It's definately a kick-ass picture, at any rate!

Your car DOES change a lot with the light - just comparing those pictures I see a world of difference, so I can't even imagine what it's like in person. Looking good, and good luck with a 5 speed conversion, new car, or whatever else you decide to do!

ok so i FINALLY went and got it, Holy Shit, one question, will u marry me? lol read all the stuff about your car, i have so many questions about it now....it said you have added 2 inches to the back to fit the side skirts u got, is that on each side or just 1 inch on each side, now it says u did it YOUR SELF, is this true? or did u have a shop do it? congrads on the spot light, but i am sad no pictures of you were in the mag, i looked forward to seeing the owner just as much as the car....i bow before one hell of a woman and car....now quick throw it in the garage and pick up a N/A supra and start doing shit to it so i can bounce ideas off of you!

i can only find them in 19s like u got i was actually looking for 18s in that color.. did you paint those? cause all i can find are the silvers and not the blacks like urs.. urs look awesome

soarerflame: I recycled the trunk and hood molds already :( I'll have to find the dash molds, unless you just want to cover yours with carbon. .. PM me i guess. I'll see what I can do.

LexDOHC: LoL!! :) yeah, I do bodywork, composite work, etc... the drivers side skirt was altered for the turbo piping a bit. I adjusted both sides so they didnt flare out as much.

Im trying to contact the photographer to get copies of the shoot. Im sure there were atleast 100 pix. I'll post more when he gets back with me.

Last5spd: They (Axis Milano) do make them in 18's but you'll have to get them custom painted or powder coated.
