What thickness would be most suitable running a gt35-40? Aiming for about 330rkws.

2.0mm or 3.0mm?

I have a PHR 3mm headgasket for sale if you decide to go with that one!

Well which would be most suitable? I'm guessing having a thicker one can hold more power so guessing it wouldn't hurt?

If you are only wanting 330rwkw then running a 3mm is overkill. I dont know what pistons you are running but your CR would be very low, maybe in the 7.xx:1 area and off boost response would be terrible.

What is the rest of your set up?

Gte pistons. 440cc injectors, 48mm wastegate gt35-40 turbo

First off the 440cc injectors wont be up to your power goals so that is the first thing you will need to upgrade if you dont want to be maxing them out at 100% duty cycle. Im guessing they are from a 7MGTE? A well tuned 2JZ will give you around 390-400whp out of those injectors but they will be on the edge and thats never good so have a hunt for atleast some 550cc units to keep you safe.

If you are using GTE pistons inside a GE block/head then the last thing you want to do is go too thick with the headgasket as it changes the way the flame front burns in the combustion chamber. Ideally you should use GE HG with GTE slugs inside a GE motor to avoid this becoming to much of a problem.

What engine control unit are you planning on using? You will need to buy something that will control your ignition so you can tune it properly as there is no way you will reach your power goals with a 9.1:1 CR unless you have some skillful ignition control.
