1jz 2jz ob1 ob2 difference in harness, pins and stuff

im trying to figure out whats the diff between all these harnesses to help on wiring up SAFC's and stuff. i havnt looked at the plugs or anything because i dont have any pics so does somone have the pics? so i can take a look or just tell me

another reason being is because i go to supra forum to learn how to install electronics but they are mostly 2jz engine harnesses

last night i was on the greddy web site and found pin outs they had them for 2jzgtes and alot of other cars but im not sure if there was any for 1jz

harness itself doesnt change between obd1 and obd2

careful of pinouts from japanese companies. JDM variations have a slightly different pin arrangment

Your request for differences is the difference between 16 different motors. You need to be a bit less vauge when making posts.

Motors:
1jz-gte JZA70 Variation
1jz-gte pre-JZX90 Variation
1jz-gte w/ VVTI JZX90 Variation
1jz-gte Soarer TT variation
1jz-gte w/ VVTI Soarer variation

2jz-ge JDM variation
2jz-ge USDM OBD1 variation
2jz-ge USDM OBD2 variation
2jz-ge w/ VVTI USDM OBD2 variation
2jz-ge w/ VVTI JDM variation

2jz-gte JZA80 USDM OBD1 variation
2jz-gte JZA80 USDM OBD2 variation

etc

All of them vary in some particular way; it can be a totally different harness from the others; or they can have different pin arrangements. Harness plugs to the chassis can be different, and so can fuse boxes. And some have differences depending on transmission choice.

And this isnt even all of the motors. There are still direct injection models out there still being used in Japan. :)

The differences can be researched quite easily. A lot of info at supraforums and other sights via Google.
