Does anyone know if they figured out the bugs with the emanage ultimate yet? And does it work well with the 2jz engine or is it still kind of quirky?

you need the injector and ignition adaptors for it to work. also you need to check the rev on the PCB - earlier revs (I think they are on G now) had some issues.

hey mark do you by any chance have the part numbers for the injector and ignition adapters?

Hi Mark,
can you please explain this a bit more? Are you talking about the "option ports" on the ecu? I thought that I would use one of them for my windband? But 3 into 2 doesnt fit really does it.
Cheers :)

You are kidding? I never read anything about them anywhere while deciding what ecu to buy...Do I have to buy them for huge dollars from greddy or is there someone who sells them that you know of??
Do I need to use the ignition module even tho I have a distributor?
Cheers for any help you can give about it.

I am planning on going this route also. (well still deciding.) What i have read so far says that the ignition adapter for six cylinder cars is a chip that you push into the board. It saves the option ports for exactly that options. The ignition adapter is a box you wire inline with the sparkplug wires and is just a resistor box for the ecu to "see" proper resistance so that you can change it with the EMU and not have the eCu fight you and change it. I have noticed the DSM guys have had mucho sucess with the EMU and not too much is online for us 2JZ people. 98mkiv has a wiring diagram on the emanage forums. I saved it andwill try to find that if you want it?
inj adapter is 24.00 and the ignition adapter is 18.00.

I just ordered the parts, glad they are a realistic price too :)
Im using low inpedence 440cc injectors with a resistor pack so hopefully they dont have troubles with the greddy unit ;)

those two parts are probably the only value parts for a NA-T besides marks kit, I am still pricing everything down to the bolts with a overhead of course.
Good luck with the Emanage I want this to succeed for you, so that i have more positive experiences to look too.

I just got the injector adapter and the option port plugs but still havent got the ignition adapter. Does anyone know what this module does? Im guessing it has something to do with the distibutor having a single signal as such...:dunno:
Will post more info once I have some.

I don't think you need it Ree. Since the car is distributor based you just connect the IG pin from the ECU to the first ignition channel in the Emanage.
I also didnt buy any optional injector adapter, seems like some people need it and others dont. We'll see how i go. It handles the stock injectors fine the way it is, i'll try out the 440s soon and let you know what to expect.

Cheers for the info DrNick :) Im glad I dont need the ignition module. It really bites paying 3 times more than the item is worth just for freight:out:
My NA-T gasket set will be in the post anyday so once it arrives Ill be fitting my injectors too so any knowledge you can impart will be much appreciated ;)
Cheers
