View Full Version : No linked pics for signatures?
I've tried a few different tags to get my sig pic to display correctly and can't seem to get it to show. Is this disabled or am I doing something wrong here?

I believe for the time being it's disabled. I know Kirk still has a lot of modification to do with the website, i'm sure he'll get that straightened out shortly.
That's what I figured. Just checking to make sure it wasn't user error.

Nice. Lookin' good my friend.
Now we can make fun of how Supraforums only allows one signature per page. That's the ONLY forum I have ever seen do this. Lame.

They do it because there's sooo many signatures out there. Each one that is downloaded uses up bandwidth on their server (Which they have to pay for). supraforums costs A LOT of money to keep running because of it. :)

Yeah, its a ton. You should hear how much it costs to get a single forum section for your business.

Last I remember, it was $6,000 per year.
thats not too bad when you take into consideration how much revenue they get from being advertised... It isn't cheap to run a web server with so much traffic

Yeah, Id agree.
On the other hand, when you look at small home based shops, like, Kevins,.. It'd be pointless. Last I heard, he was telling me he was going to pay to have a forum section. That's basically pointless, considering theres already MVP, and that after 4 years of SF being up, everyone either knows of him, or is already modded. No chance in HELL he'd make 6k up in a year of that.
