Alright im installing a mapecu1 into my 95 mkiv na-t pretty soon. I bought the mapecu to get rid of my MAF, and convert the car the speed density (with a MAP sensor). Is this possible with the MAPECU1?

If so, how and where do I install the map sensor?

Thank you

i'm not sure about the map ecu 1 but i do know that the map ecu 2, the map sensor is built inside the map ecu itself. so basically you just run a vacuum hose from map ecu to the intake manifold.

Alright thanks, anyone have any MAPECU1 input?

Where does the vacuum hose connect to the intake mani? Do I have to drill a hole (or do any modification), or does it fit in a stock location?

I believe u can just tap into one of the vac hose on the mani. like the one from the FPR or the PS.

Bump. How does the MAP work with MAPECU1?

It's the same as a 2 with the vacuum line coming from it. I need the software to be able to adjust mine.

Hi guys,
can i run the MAP ECU 1 with my JDM (MAP based) Na-T setup? i need some sort of fuel controller for bigger injectors but cant decide which to go for, im thinking of going with either the AEM FIC and a TT MAP sensor or a MAP ECU 1, any input is much appreciated
