First , I want to say hi to everything on the forum, let me introuduce myself ,I have both IS and SC 300 ,before I post this I have seach, read all the FAQ and all the basic about the 2JZ but I can't find any answer for it. First of all I'm very interested to rom tunning , I woud like to get more information how I can get more access to the ECU, I've been dealing with SR , VQ and RB Nissan engines in the past and editing map in the chip for fuel tunning. ok now I have a 04 IS300 and a 92 SC300, I would like to know more about the ECU on the SC300,are there any consult to read the stock fuel map?mainly I would like to know if it's similiar setup like Nissan, my car is a 92 so no OBDII and no VVTi , but I'm not sure it will self learning (a/f timing konck and other stuff? ) I also would like to ask who use megasquit on their 2JZ ? I also want to convert distrubtor to distrubless ? if u know anything about all the information above please share, any input would be appericate

I do understand there are AEM , E-manage, and SAFC for fuel tunning, but that would be my last choice.

Thank you and have a great Christmas

As far as remapping your stock ecu they only people I've seen that do it are G-Force. I don't think there is any way to remap them youself. G-Force sinply changes the rom chips for fuel cut and speed limit. I'm not sure if they can adjust for bigger injectors.
Really the best option for personal control is the AEM. i know you said it was last on your list but it really is the best option, especially if you want to switch to coilpacks and get rid of the distributor.
