Just out of curiosity where did you mount your ait?

I put it near the same location as stock.. close to the shock tower in the charge pipe.

Ok cool, my car never came with a MAF/AIT so I was kinda unsure where in the tract to install it. I'm running a really similar setup except I'm on a PT61 and just recently installed a AEM EMS. And now I can use your calibration as a good starting point :)

Just remember, that my settings are for 550cc (which can be scaled to what you're using) with a idle fuel pressure of 40psi. Set those first before first startup. The pump will prime 2 secs when you put he key into ign mode, so crank it at around 1.5 seconds...you'll get a good startup like that. Then set your base timing with a gun and you should be good to idle and possibly even drive :)

I'm also on the Densos 550s :) Just got around to messing with the car and I can't load up your calibration. Is version 1v23 for a EMS 1 or 2?

My cal is version 1.23 EMS V2. You may need to update your AEMTUNER. Let me know if anyone else can't open it, maybe I can do screen shots, or EXCEL tables. My car runs amazing, and I want everyone else to be able to get off on a good start with a tuned cal.

did you tune this yourself or have it done on a dyno? I'm pretty close to your setup and can't aford the $600 to get it tuned yet.

I had it tuned by Tony @ Dynamotorsports. He's amazing. Like I said, I couldn't use the startup cal supplied by AEM with the mods i had, so maybe this well help someone. Still for best throttle response, you should get it tuned on a dynapak in the end. If you still want screen shots, lemme know.

yup 9.2:1.
I'm glad the maps worked out for you. Did you have any success with the AEM supplied maps? They were garbage for me....
