Cam sensor questions

Hey,

I am having trouble starting up my 2JZ-GE. In order to test the cam sensors, can I swap the cam sensor 1 pin with the the cam sensor 2 pin, leaving the sensor 1 pin disconnected because I do understand the AEM only needs one in order to work.
