Once the SC is up and running, I am going to start sourcing the parts to complete the manual to auto conversion.

At this point in time, the cost for 6spd swap or BL R154 kit are both over the cost of going to a built TH400 setup, or even a built TT Auto.

Being that I am running an AEM, I should have no problems converting to either from my understanding.

I prefer the TH400 route, as I can provide the tranny and have it built locally for dirt cheap.

I assume aside from the tranny that the following is needed:

Custom bellhousing or chevy bellhousing adapter
Flexplate
Torque Convertor
Driveshaft
Some sort of shifter setup
Tranny cooler setup

Do any of the vendors sell this stuff outside of their kits? Am I missing anything?

I assume this is pretty much the basic parts list, well from BL, anyways.

* BL Built TH400 w/ BL MKIV bell housing adapter
* BL Non Lock-Up Torque Converter (3500 stall)
* BL Driveshaft
* CNC 6061 Aluminum Transmission Mount
* Digital Speedo Adaptor
* B&M Quick Silver Shifter
* Lokar Stainless Steel Dipstick
* Energy Suspension Polyurethane Transmission Mount Bushing
* B&M TH400 Shifter Bracket
* B&M TH400 Shifter Cable
* Six speed Console

Do you mean better bang for the buck compared to a V160 ?
Cause Autos can be expensive too. Im not a fan of the built toyota autos either.
