eek, dumped wastegates suck

I'm gonna get a ticket...i'm always really careful but call it bad luck...in the past two weeks i've boosted TWICE with cops in the immediate vicinity and everytime they've pulled out of their respective parking lots preettyy fast. I don't think they actually saw me and this is one of those times i'm glad my car looks completely stock.

Any of you guys running open wastegates? What are your thoughts regarding them?

Open wastegate here... havn't had ANY problems so far... I am considering routing it into the exhaust though as apposed to just letting all the hot gas just fly around in the engine bay

open wastegate is better in terms of performance. The more boost you run, the quieter your wastegate will be.

i put a horn shaped pipe on the end of my wastegate dump tube and it sounds super sick. Sounds like a diesel truck on full boost
