It finally happened

While I was checkingtire pressure and inflating my tires this afternoon at Costco. A black dude came up to me and we had small conversation, the guy was nice and funny.

BD: "Nice Radiator"

me: you mean front mount?

BD: ?? that shinny radiator you have on the front, that looks badass, where can I get one?

me: it is not a radiator, it is call intercooler.

BD: ??

me: my radiator is behind the intercooler

BD: I have a Civic HB, I want to get a radiator like that for it.

me: cool, is your Civic turbocharged?

BD: no

me: There is no point of having intercooler if you are NA

BD: why not?

me: it is there to cool the compressed air, no point of having FMIC if you are not running boost.

BD: boost?

I've got another funny "turbo" story. A friend of mine has a t67 boost logic Lexus SC300.... it went 120mph in the 1/4. It's pretty much a beast on the streets.... but anyways a few of us were out crusing one night messing around and this non-suspecting WRX pulled up and started revving on us, so we situated the turbo Lexus next to him - initiated the race and the WRX was spanked BAD. I instantly pulled up next to him, REVVED, and he wouldn't budge..... I'm still bone-stock, he just thought I was turbo I suppose. It was hilarious...

i had a convo with a pair of black dude at 1am at mcdonalds, i was pulling up with the windows down (last night with my new conversion) the convo went like this

black guys " wat kinda pipe u got on there?"
me "apex gt-spec"
black guys "damn sounds much louder then mine, what year celica is that?"
me "1995 toyota supra..is that ure red celica?"
black guys "oh like the fast and the furious? hell yea man that my celica, i got that ?????? (no name brand) pipe, sounds nice too"
me "yea thats a nice car, i like wat u did with ure stickers..."
i hate talkin to ppl who know nothing about wat they talk about....it was a blast though.....im not racist by any way , but i find it funny when a black man asks and tries to tell me somting about the supra

Isn't that Josh's old car? The new owner hasn't posted much about the car since he bought it....Yeh it's Tucks old car..... he sold to Daniel [easy2speed] who is now signed up on here. Tuck sold the car after it went 113mph & we tuned it to its current 120mph state. :doh:

When I had my 240 had a coworker that had a 97 cobra tell me hey what did you do you I can see your radiator really well now it looks nice. :roflwtf:
