on my way home from "the track" i spotted a viper gts headed in the same direction. he was a few cars up. now i know i am no match for a viper (yet) i still wanted to see how i would hold up. :fingersx: i catch him as we come to "the tree" and its lit red. his windows are up and im trying to get his attention but he wont look over. :dunno: seemed to be an older guy but the windows were tinted kinda dark. as the light turns green i didnt think he would push it so i casually roll off the line and he follows suit as i keep in gear and the revs go up. i mash it and he is right there beside me one moment and the next thing i know he is like 3 cars ahead of me :eek: . he shuts down and i catch up to him and rev a bit to go again before i call it a night and we takes the bait. this time was way different. he didnt let off so had like 6-7 cars on me before i shut down and went home. :sadwavey: all and all it was pretty fun. got a ways to go before im viper ready.

It was a good try. I keep looking for exotic cars in my area to see how The Beast compares. I've been told it'll beat anything short of a Mcclaren. Just wanted to see for myself.

my sentiments exactly. i mean i know i wont compare to an F1 or anything but i'd still like to see how i'll hold up. :bigok:

Good story.thanks. i'm trying to get specs so i can order some cams and gears so i can get back on the dyno and do some tuning. after that, im going after that viper! :nuts: seriously though, i have some time before im ready for a rematch but im getting there. little by little. :hsdance:

At least the guy in the Viper wasn't an ass about it. Sometimes it's fun to see "high end" cars go for it knowing you don't stand a chance.

yeah, its nice to see someone drive a car the way it was intended (on the track of course :roflwerd: ) rather than just spend the money for the status.
