how many people have changed their fuel management setups and which one did your car run best on? please also state if you are OBDI or OBDII

oh yeah, and also explain why you changed and the advantages and disadvantages of both

anyone still on VPC/Safc running on OBDII? have any dyno graphs?

-first setup ran with the stock maf/stock injs./hks safr
-then went vpc/safr
-then went vpc/gcc
-sold the vpc/gcc and was planning on buying a map-ecu, but after reading all the problems peeps were having with it. i bought another vpc/safr setup that im using now.
-now saving up to go AEM

dude you are kdirty130 right?

i was vpc/safc, but went to map ecu as gamimnon said it cured his open/closed loop issues that his VPC/safc setup were giving him. i'm sure it works for some cars/setups, but i can not dial in w/ the map ecu. i just bought another VPC. also bought an OBDI ECU as i am going to try both ECU's w/ both chips

how is your car running with that setup bro?

what are the differences between the SAFC and SAFR? i'll do a search as soon as i'm done submitting :)

yea, man, its me kdirty130. my car is running strong now with my new setup. not too many differences b/w the safc and safr, the safc has more options. but i dont like the way they look, and i liked the size of the safr.

OBDII and using VPC/SAFC combo. Has been okay for the most part until recent, but working on diagnosing that issue currently.

Here's an old dyno graph of my old setup with the pt61 and a TT smic in 90 degree heat on 13psi and 93 octane

and here's a 22psi pull on the same day with a 50/50 mix of c16 and 93 octane

My car is going in the shop for some minor maintenance and upkeep and will be put on the dyno again. I'll post up the graphs when I have it back.

sweet. yeah keep us posted. i want one of us/all of us to find the best setup for OBDII so that we can all run like 11.5 at WOT all the way through and not have to worry about trying all these dam setups. i'm going to be trying 2 new setups pretty soon so i will let you know how i make out. hopefully we can all come up with something soon
