Supra starter question, anyone using non oem starters

Anyone using non oem starters such as Bosch starters?

I am having problem with my starter, most likely it just need replacing the contacts. If replacing the contacts does not fix the problem, I guess I will get a new starter.

The OEM is $200 + core charge, I can get Bosch starter for $120 and I can get them locally without delay. It is just a starter so using non oem should not a be a big deal correct?

Is the Bosch a downgrade or an upgrade? But I think all starters are basically the same, no?

I would think it is a down grade as it is cheaper.

The oem is a Nippon Denso unit. But it is just a damn starter, if it works that is all it matters.
