I thought clipping decreased spool but increased top end as there was less restriction on the turbine??

I dunno the basics of clipping a turbo. But I do know that he has hella quick spool. Like full boost at 3K. Its pretty nice sounding too his wastegate is piped back into the exhaust and his car sounds S E C K S I!!!!!!!!!!!!
