problem with manifold and turbo

hey mark when i went and mount the t61 turbo on the manifold i notice that the compressor hits the manifold support bars that are weld on the manifold....and when i go and clock the turbo its even worst..so is it possible to cut that one support bar off will that effect it to much? thanx

should be able to cut it off without much worry, but make sure with mark. ive got my mani and T61 without any supports and its fine.

which I recommend you read fully. What you do is cut the forward brace. Do not worry about the integrity of the manifold, it will not have any problem carrying the T61.
