1jz to 600 hp

i might be purchasing a mkIV with a 1j...considering i will not have great potential as a 2j what mods can get me to the 600whp mark

basic mods same as a 2jzgte. 65-67mm turbo, 650-720cc injectors, some kind of managment (map-ecu). Done.

Side note:
Don't need cams for 600whp, but 1jz cams are very mild, and if you want power to 8k+, get some 264 hks's and springs.

Im using a Precision GT40-88 turbo and 550cc injectors from a mkiv. Should be good for 500-550whp on a stock ECU and SAFC2.

All u need is cams for a 1j to rev to 8k?

yeah? STOCK rev limiter is 7750 and the redline is 7500 i'm pretty sure.

I've revved my stock 1JZGTE to 8500rpms with a re-flashed ECU. The valves float. MTR dyno'd a 1JZGTE with HKS cams to 9500rpms without issues.
