I somewhat made my own turbo heatshield to cover the hot side of the turbo, it is mainly for looks just as HKS $135 one.

Cost me $15 + 10 minutes. The heatshield will look much better after I spend a little more time cutting additional opening and getting it to mount perfectly.

Yeah, that looks really nice!

If you ever decide to start making those, lemme know. :D

Once you get it perfect, do a write up or something on it!

The materia is Aluminum. It is basicly just a air filter heatshield that you can buy on both ebay for $10 or local stores that sell ricer parts. Other than a little cutting, it will fit without a problem, it fits PT61 perfectly fine with plenty of room to spare, probably will work for up to 67 to 73 trim turbos.

It is basicly same quality as the $50 injen Air Filter heatshields just not polished. It same with adjustable brackets, it will bolt onto 3" to 4" downpipe. It will hold even better with a metal clamp.

Obvisouly it is mainly for looks just as the HKS one, but it does work as providing a barrier/shield between the hot side and other lines and items, rather than having them directly exposed to the hotside.

After extensive driving, you can actually touch the heatshield, still hot, but touchable.
