so ive read and search yes. i want to make sure...i am also new here so just help me out.
i have no tach and the way to fix this is to jumper the resister on the gauge? or get a msd tach adapter. what should i do? jumpin the resistor means solder a wire across the 2 ends?

i have some sort of idea but am very new to all of this. if im goin to take the cluster out. how will i do it on the sc300 anything that could help me.
thanks in advance.

Here is a tutorial on taking out the instrument cluster in an SC300:

So the original owner never hooked up the tachometer? Or is it the gauge cluster that is not working?

No. He put the 1jz in and its not compatible with the usdm sc300 cluster tach and water temp.

Other than that bro Ive read the post and im not totally sure how to the resister thing goes, try clublexus.com.
