I hate forum introductions, but I may as well get it over with. My name is Peter and I live just west of OKC so that puts me close to a couple members here it looks like. I'm in the process of getting a '92 SC 300 5-spd. It's green with tan leather and the gold package trim. Should have it by next weekend.
It's a replacement for my '85 Mercedes 380 SL that I use as a daily driver. The Benz is a fun car but at 25 years old, its starting to need maintenence frequently as old parts wear out finally. That eats into my project car money, and I'd much rather drop cash on my '85 Celica Supra. So I'm getting another Toyota.
Plans are to get some wheels, suspension, and maybe intake and exhaust for now, and to just drive the crap out of it while I finish up on the Supra. Then we'll see about going 1JZ or something down the road.
