Here is a wiring diagram I made up for the 2JZ-GE distributor motor (93-97) and the Greddy E-Manage Ultimate. I strongly suggest using a fields harness and using the supplied bullet connectors as they are indespensible when troubleshooting. Solder the bullet connectors, do not crimp. The connectors supplied with the unit are great, but there are others as well. Be sure to pick bullets that can withstand several cycles of disconnect/reconnect.

Please note when using this file it is set up for a 0-5v meter (OBD2). If you are using a KV (freq) OBD1 type meter, adjust accordingly.

so does this mean you have tried it on na-t and it works?

yes.

I have a few files for tweaking the unit, but can only send them by email, since I haven't found a good host to store them for downloading.

Thanks,
Mark

were you able to sucessfully control timing with the ultimate? What about the increasing rev limiter function?

Hey mark, would you say the Ultimate is a good solution for our cars with the current releases of the firmware/software? I've heard the data sampling utility works wonders for the Vr4 guys. You drive your car with stock injectors to get a base map using your stock MAF and then install the new injectors and tune a regular map for it until you get it how you like it; then you sample at tons of different rpms, pressures, etc until you've got a really good map, and then you build a output airflow map and switch over to map sensor reading only. You still need an IAT and a barometric correction for it to run well though.

Can you comment on this?

And this?

And I saw you mentioned it was possible to switch over to distributorless with the ultimate. How was that doable? Or do you have a thread-link?

Thanks man!

That's what I did with my 97. If you buy one, just be sure to get a latest rev. mohdparts.com is pretty knowledgable on how to get a good working one and he also knows the issues they've had with them. What is nice about the system is just what you said, you log your stock MAF sensor (hz or V - it has dedicated outputs for both) and then install the pressure sensor. Delete the MAF and use the map you created to run MAP based. It's really slick. I have some tweaks for it so you can use ANY MAF with any other output.... I have not tested them on other platforms, but they worked for my 97NA to speed density conversion.

Yes, you can do a distributorless system. I have the wiring diagram downloadable as a PDF here, but it does not include the necessary ignition/injector adaptors. I had to add those to work. All told, I think it's a great system, but it's not well supported. A writeup on tuning/installing would be good to have here.

Well I'm debating between MS and the EU and it seems the EU would be a lot easier to tune and still allow me to remain closer to the drivability of the stock car. After researching ignition, I think I can setup something for it. I love how the 6G72 system is setup.
