View Full Version : AEM EMS small turbo 2JZ maps?

I'm looking for a map just to drive my car to a tuner in Austin. Does anyone have any safe 2JZ-GE na-t small single turbo AEM EMS maps? My car specs are the following:

Stock 2JZ-GE engine with Supra twin turbo headgasket and ARP headstuds
--> resulting final engine compression is 9:1
Dave Henry turbo exhaust manifold ( www.boostwerx.com) + ceramic coating
TE-44 buick turbo (60 trim with .63 a/r garrett exhaust housing)
3in intake pipe for turbo compressor
3in downpipe (ceramic + heat-wrap)
3in midpipe
3in to dual 2.5in catback exhaust with dual magnaflow ss straight-thru mufflers
--> no cats or resonators
AEM EMS 30-1101 w/ 3 bar map sensor + AIT sensor
Supra twin turbo 17in wheels (275 rear tires / 245 front)
Supra twin turbo torsen limited slip differential
Toyota Soarer 5 speed manual transmission (r154, retains same ~4.10 final drive ratio as stock NA)
Tial 40mm wastegate
Greddy Profec B (version 1) Electronice Boost Controller
Mazda RX7 550cc injectors
Supra Twin Turbo fuel pump wired in constant 13 volt mode
JackyPerformance front mount intercooler (vertical style)
HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve

Do you have stock ignition?

yes, stock distributor with stock ignitor, etc..so stock ignition.

I've a map (version 1.11) that works pretty well. There are differences between our cars, of course, but it might be good enough to get you there, especially if it's mostly highway driving and you have wideband feedback turned on with conservative A-F ratios. My car was tuned by Larry Prebis and I've only made minor changes to it to make cold starting easier in the winter. Do you have a wideband hooked up?

Personally, I would just get the car taken there on top of a flatbed.

Still working on getting the car driveable with AEM EMS. Here is the youtube video of the bouncing rpm's and increasing AFR values in neutral while idling:

Does anyone know how to fix this?

hate bring back an old thread, but have a quick qustion:

in the youtube video the engine load is maxes out with a red bar.
I have the same thing after installing my AEM, is that normal? :dunno:


BTW: anyone have a cal file for 440 injectors, t4 TE04 (smallish size) turbo, walbro fuel pump?
