well powerhouseracing sells an upgraded clutch kit for the auto tranny, and I'm looking for a local shop that will use that kit, along with some other parts and upgrade my tranny and gauarantee it for around 600hp with still shifting smoothly:) I've gotten quotes for local shops saying about 1700 with parts included but im going to see if i get all the parts myself and a spare tranny and give it to them if it will be cheaper...so once i figure everything out ill post about it and what all to do.

The NA tranny for the Supra/Lexus 2J cars. After 98 Ive heard the switched to the A341 (TT) auto tranny in the SC300. Im not sure about the other cars, but I would assume they made that change to them as well.

BoostLogic's is $1800 and it uses your stock torque converter, they have an upgraded torque converter for larger turbos for an additional $550.

It should handle upwards of 700hp I'd imagine.

does anyone here have the boostlogic one? how would you think it shifts? smooth as stocxk or firmer?

its going to have to be firmer, sloppy smooth shifts are part of what kills the transmission when making a lot of power... it wont be super stiff or anything; but it definitely wont be stock or anything

someone on clublexus was very disappointed with the Boost Logic built NA transmission since it broke ONLY at 400rwhp :wtf: . Boost Logic doesn't offer warranty for their built na-t auto transmissions from my understanding.

not offering a warranty is not a big sales plus if you ask me. i like it when someone stands behind their product

Do what? There's a thread on Supraforums about this very thing... and it died because it was a prototype and ran higher line pressure than the final product...

boostlogic replaced it for FREE

Boostlogic most DEFINITELY offers a warranty with their transmissions

Is there a warranty offered with the transmissions? If there is in fact no transmission, that'd def. be something id be very weary about purchasing. However, I doubt a high end company such as boost logic doesn't carry any type of buyback or refund.
