View Full Version : Moderators needed
We are looking for people who support the site and will help the site grow (more members, help members, etc..) and make this a great website to visit. I myself have been extremely busy with work and personal matters aswell as some of the other moderators I have on here. I am not just looking for people who just want to be moderator just for the hell of it, I am looking for people who are going to be helpful and help the site grow.
If you think you fit the spot please DO NOT PM ME, just post here and state why you think you can fill the spot and also what section you are interested in moderating. Thanks guys
Kirk

I wouldn't consider myself a nominee for any of the "swap" or na-t sections simply because I have not done it myself, and my car is still NA. I'd like to think of myself as a good standing, supportive member.. I've been trying to recruit people like crazy since the site opened. I've noticed we don't have a car audio&electronics/alarm section. Maybe we should add one - I'd be glad to help out and moderate there, and the various other "non experience" type forums such as For sale Parts & Vehicles. Also the Member's Rides & Video sections. You can never have enough mods for the "Free 4 All" section, it could get nasty in there.. :bowrofl: Let me know Kirk. I'd be glad to help out in any way I can.

I'm willing to be a part of helping the site grow and help moderate it.
Why?
Well, I've been a moderator on my local car forums for awhile now, and post frequently on a variety of forums. The trouble with supraforums and all of the nonsense that I have to put up with their on a daily basis is getting out of control, so I have decided to quit posting over there. Also, I finally am installing my na-t kit tomorrow, and will officially be na-t. I'll be on this site basically 100% of the time now, so I can put some effort and time into moderating and helping it grow.
Ive also previously owned and ran a website, and helped put together a forum in the past, so a lot of things aren't new to me. If youd like to chat further, PM me or AIM me at SupaSupraSE.
Thanks :)
EDIT- I also wanted to add that I would be fine moderating any of the forum sections. Whichever ones need the moderators, i'd be happy to fill.

I would love to be moderator.. i have done alot to my car and owned a supra for years now. i see alot of slots filled up in different sections i would mind being a moderator on a empty slot like war stories because i did use to race alot aka streetracing that is not the smartest thing to do but i did when i was na-t. Im online alot and can help the site grow as well, because part of my job is being online so i can always take part in the site and see what is going on. I also have knowledge of na-t due to i did my own install myself. If i fit the requirements hook me up Kirk im always trying to get more people to this site look at my damn aim hehe.. and btw that is the least thing u can do for a bad luck na-t member =(

I'd like to be a co-mod in the for-sale section as well. I'm in the works of building a commercial for-sale website specifically for people selling stuff on forums and will be giving great rates for supraforums and clubna-t people.
Lots of free stuff to look out for, too!

I'd like to be a mod. I can smell BS, I have been on SF for a long time and know a lot about motors/trannies/etc and supras in general. I'm a mech E so I won't be talking out my ass with advice and I don't talk about what I don't know. I'd like to mod the na-t or straight NA section......
straight up, concise.

I should be a moderator becuase first off I have a shit ton of free time. And secondly while I may be new to SC's I have a lot of turbo car general knowledge as well as ECU stuff after wiring up a Haltech E6K for my old rx7 turbo.

Not good enough, lol. Free time doesn't mean you are good.
Looks like the spot is filled up anyways. Come again when 500 more members join.
Hey now be nice there sport :)
Wiring up a Haltech E6K to an old FC aint easy... I've done it twice on two of my friends cars and I dont care to do it again LOL. He should get a medal

Haha, thanks.
I wasnt expecting a spot anyways just thought i'd find something to brag about lol.
haha thanks bean!
It's even harder when the person you bought it from completely destroyed the harness when they pulled it off their car too and you have to completely resolder and resize every single lead as well as resolder every single one of their connections they soldered.
Argh, wiring nightmares.

funk that man. AEM for me anytime. Do they have an FC application yet? If not I bet its super easy to adapt an FD unit using one of those nifty autosport harnesses

I think I would be a GREAT Moderator here because I'm kind, cooperative, always helpful, and share my knowledge with everyone!
I'd help out if you guys need a hand.
I have pretty decent turbo knowledge, had a 12 sec DSM back in 1997 back then that was considered fast ;P

I wouldn't mind moderating the SE section if one comes around. While I just joined today, I lurked around here for awhile and have been on SF for going on 9 months.
We will start regional sections once the website picks up alot more for sure. I am not taking anymore requests for moderator positions at the moment, but as the site grows.. so will the need for more moderators. :) Thank you guys for everything
