had my motor cc'd before and after i had it bored out and turns out its not really a 3 liter actually 2.9 but very close to 3. i forgot the exact amount of displacment on it but if i remember ill post up.

I thought it was 2997cc, or somewhere close to that. The displacement figure is just rounded up. I think every manufacturer does it to some degree. :)

yea, they usually round up when figuring displacements...

kind of like the 5.0L mustangs that are actually 4.9L....

also another interesting fact if you plan on boring 20 over you will be right at 3.1 liter

yah hopefully some time in the future i plan on going to 40 over and getting the titan motorsports stroker crankshaft :D that should bump the displacement up quite a bit
