Just installing the Turbo on the NA.

Looking at the install on this site it looks like you splice one Oxygen Sensor into the other so they both get the same reading.

Is that right?

Thanks,

Tim

Yes. Or you can put a paperclip in to the diagnostic connector under the hood located next to the intake manifold. Use the paperclip to bridge the 2 Oxygen Sensor pins

No problem. Its one of those little intagibles that no one really talks about much. Its a common mod tho; back when Toyomoto was king, it was in their instruction manual

Could you explain what to do? please.

Archanox, out of curiousity I popped open my diagnostic box on the intake manifold to see if I could find an answer to you. There are two prongs in the center marked OXY 1 and OXY 2 (or something close to that), I would assume those are the two you run a paper clip between.

If i went in the direction of useing the diognostic port to jump them together, would i use both o2 sensors still? which o2 sensor would i use if i only need one and what would i do with the one not being used? Also how am i supposed to weld the stock o2 sensors in the new down pipe if they dont just unscrew and screw back into a bung?

keep in mind that OBDII Supras dont have the OX pins in the diagnostics port... but i was told to tie in the 2 OX wires on the ECU side instead of the sensors or the diagnostic port...

I have a 95 and I ended up using a paper clip in the diagnostic port to jump the oxy 1 and 2, left the front sensor unplugged only running the rear and car runs flawless. 2 Minute mod :)
