My bros na auto tranny is starting to slip under accel, we have a soarer auto tranny laying around, what would be involved in swapping this trans into his n/a?? Im assuming its almost the same as a soarer 5 speed swap?? any info??

No, it'll bolt right up.
Physically its gonna be the exact same.

well we know it bolts up.....
but the mkiv has electronic controlled line pressure, the soarer auto has a kick down cable.....
how did you hook up the electronics and kickdown since the mkiv has no spot for it on the throttle plate?
I know for a fact an aristo auto is a direct bolt on plug in swap, we did my buddies 94 about a month ago.

We used a soarer 1jz tranny into my MKIV Supra. They where both cable and everything was plug and play other than the selectors which we just swapped. There is one plug though that we didnt have a connector for so we left it unplugged and still worked and runs great!! This is a good upgrade for anyone going N/A T. 400whp is attainable stock with good oil cooler.

The plug u didn't have a connector for was probably the front speed sensor.
nonturbo has 1, soarer has 2 speed sensors

I am trying to do the same thing but the transmission mount does not bolt up.I am using the NA MKIV Supra auto transmission mount with the 1gz-gte trans.Anyone know what mount do I need?
