1uz in my 94 na/auto

im seriously thinking of abourting my na-t project and doing the TT 1uz setup.

i would like to swap to the getrag, but to save money(short run) how "strong" is the stock sc400 auto trans?

also what is the bore on the 1uz? i cant drop in some stock TT pistons can I? :ohnoes:

The stock auto Sc400 trans is about as strong as the MKIV auto, the real achilles heel would be the tq converter. It's not exactly made for performance. The 2jz pistons aren't interchangable with the V8, unfortunately. What sort of HP are you looking for out of a 1uzTT? Pm me with any info if you'd like.

Can the TT flexplate bolt up to the 1UZ though? If so that would be a pretty easy swap.

Unfortunatly the flex plate won't bolt up. The bolt pattern isn't right, and also the ring gear diameter and pitch is off.
