Just wanted to let everyone know the experience that I had when trying to purchase a turbo kit from 93'widebody (93gt3000 on clublexus.com)

NA-T kit for NA Supra and SC300, $1300. After speaking with seller, agreed on a cashier's check as form of payment (priority mail, return receipt). Pictures of the check and tracking number of priority mail were sent to seller to verify that funds were being sent, a total of $1360.23 for the kit and shipping. The money was send out the day after speaking with the seller, which was a holiday so I had to send it out next day.

Communication:
I spoke with seller numerous times and assured him that funds were on the way, he assured me he was not scamming me, etc. He even said that he might ship the kit out before receiving the check.
Things start to go wrong:
Seller has posted the kit on numerous forums, I saw on clublexus.com first. Now that seller finds out that a ton of people want the kit, he starts saying "first come first served" or "whoever's money I get first". I spoke with him and assured him that my money was already in the mail. I'm in GA, he's in CA, so it takes 3 days even with priority mail. Had I shipped it overnight, it would have gotten there the same time as the winning buyer's did, now seller has payment twice and I'm stuck trying to stop the payment.
Communication stops:
Tried to call Seller all day on Thursday the 8th, no answer and only voicemail, left several messages but no response. As I'm browsing here and on Club Lexus, I see that the kit is sold and on it's way to another buyer!
My Complaint
1. Seller changed the rules in the middle of the game and sold to first person that he got money from, even though he was told and provided proof that my money was on the way.
2. This has cost me time out of work to try and stop the check delivery. It has also cost me the cost of the cashier's check, the postage, and the cancelled check fee. Plus I have to wait for them to put the money back in my account.
3. Seller did not call me to tell me he had sold the kit to someone else. He was not able to be reached (said he had a phone problem) and he did not respond at all until early this morning. The moment he sold it he could have told me by phone or email, he had all my contact info. Instead he sends an email after midnight to me which I saw this morning.
This guy was not only a jerk, but he also changed the terms of the sale in the middle of things even when he knew I had already mailed out a check, provided pictures and a tracking number. So basically he had two people sending him money at once.
Now I'm out the fees, time, and hassle. I think I have good grounds to give him this post and a bad seller rating as seller has other items for sale on here. I would not encourage anyone else to do business with him, as his posts on all three boards were to sell his stuff only I don't think he will be around much longer, even though he's trying to unload the VPC and IAC and other stuff. BUYER BEWARE! I emailed the mod for this section, so hopefully we can keep anyone else from being out money and being hassled.
I'm sure the seller will come on here and tell me that I'm whining, etc which he already has and that is fine. I'm covered, the check is stopped, if this prevents others from getting screwed then it's worth the heckling that I'm gonna get. Seller has a "hey, everyone send money and whomever's I get first then you are the winner", "everyone else have fun stopping your checks and paying fees to do so". Judging by his posts and his phone skills, I pretty much expected him to be childish.
