I needed a new 2jzge, so i bought the engine and tranny from a sc300. aside from the ecu and engine harness being different (the engine is NOT VVTI) is there anything i need to know about putting it in? any issues like different injectors or anything you can think of that i might need to buy at all to make it work that i cant use off my old engine? and as a heads up the old engine got a real bad knock in it, so the external parts are fine aside from a shitty alternator. thanks guys and YES i did look around but this is a 2jzge to 2jzge swap, i havent seen the question pop up yet in the forums at all.

Yes they are the same and the swap is very simple there may be a few sensors that are diffrent but other than that it is cake. Just drop it in and figure everything out as you go.

If you have the stock Supra harness, I would just use that, because everything on the engine plugs in. Its the body harness plugs that are different between the two.

thanks guys its in, and running, but there is a problem with the shift lever. its auto and not moving. must be a bad solenoid or a sensor isnt telling it the car is on and the brake is pressed. happens sometimes in my accord, hopefully that's it

Nice job! Seeing this gets me motivated so I can go pull the head off my car and replace it

apologies on the late reply:
I warped the fudge out of it :) Lower rad hose got a huge cut in it on the interstate and out went all my coolant. I didnt know it was happening and before I knew it, my car was full red with a check engine light on. Pulled over and even after I repaired the hose, it was burning coolant like no tomorrow.

Finally got it done. Took a popped freeze-plug in the Nissan to get my ass off and finish it in 2 days. I had to have transportation for school :D
