So I got my boostlogic kit in the mail and now Im in the process of installing it. I dont have any instructions so Im winging it right now, and I ran into a problem- Where the down pipe meets the exhaust manifold, I cant break those two bolts loose- has anyone else had this problem? any advice?
and does anyone have any boostlogic install instructions?

Are you talking about the stock midpipe and the stock exhaust manifold?

If so, get under the car and theres two bolts (i believe its two)... Theyre probably going to be very rusty, because if these are the two bolts your talking about as well, I had some trouble getting them off..

Just keep spraying WD40 into it and put muscle into it. Just keep on doing this until finally they'll break loose.

i had a problem getting those apart to. i never did get them apart. i think because i only had a 12 point socket. try a 6 point socket.........and if that doesn't work, do what i did. jack the car up really high, get under the car and have someone up front guiding the dp through the front of the engine bay and have them tell you which way you should push and pull the exhaust out

I also had the same problem. If you go to you local automotive store, there's this stuff call Fabulous Blaster. I sprayed this stuff on, let it stand for about 10mins. The bolts came off like they were never tightened on.

Thats what I was doing, Im using a 6point and Im now rounding the bolts, looks like I might have to drill them out.

If you have a 6point correctly sized you SHOULD be able to get them off. I used a 2.5ft breaker bar tho...

its a TRUE breaker bar however, it has a 1/2" socket on the end and it swivels... my car is deathly afraid of it and it behaves itself when its time to "work"

WD40 doesnt always work either... that liquid wrench works even better for me. Thankfully though... once you get it off; the new parts are a cinch to take off next time

Shouldnt need an impact hammer with a breaker bar :) Getting the right size on it (and with a torque multiplier), you can put FAR MORE torque on it than any impact hammer could hope to do

A cutting wheel is your next step. Cut them off. Thats what worked for me. Your gonna have to replace the bolts anyway.
