all right i am in the navy and have been a car enthusiast for quite a while i have goon thought quite a few cars couple of old 4runners adn a civic and a 240 i like the rwd and im gonna stick with it
i used to work at Nissan in Marietta GA as a tech, so i can do most of my own work.
i am currently stationed in Oceana VA. for about the next six months before i become ships company on the George Washington. and become permanently stationed in Japan.
just recently purchased my first sc
for $2500 with 217000 miles (kinda a lot)
i bought it with a few problems the ac compressor was no god and had to be replace fast, before it would lock up. and burn the belt up.
i took care of that problem for about 270 including retrofitting it from r12 to
r134a.
and a nother problem is the transmission. solenoids 1 & 2 in the on the valve body. basicly the trans started off in third all te time when the gear selector was in D range but u could drive it manually shifting from L to 2 and it would always skip second.
but now i just lost 4th which is the overdrive solenoid in the trans so now i need all three solenoids. i have a entire valve body on the way. so i can replace it and keep it on the road until i can get enough money to to do the 5 speed swap.
or until i get permanently stationed in japan.
when i get there the 2jztt front clip will be on its way the the sc which will be sitting in the garage for about 4 years.
