I'm looking for a shop on east coast that will do 1jz swap or anyone that has experience. Driving down to FL is a possiblity(xatracing in Tampa quoted me 6K installed) I'm looking for a clean professional swap. It will be basic install and FMIC for now. I have a 5sp SC. Timeline for this will be around Spring 06. dont worry ki_soarer I didnt forget about you. My email address is siwinx@gmail.com.

$6k installed? jeezus! You can get a 2jz-gte installed for almost that and the motor costs 3x as much as the 1jz.

Hey Chino whats your pricing like for the swap beginning to end with me helping?

Where is the 2JZGTE installed for 6K?

It was a general reference for $6500. I'm sure it could be done for much cheaper if you do it yourself. Its not very hard.

All wiring has been documented by Phil's book for the 2jz-gte swap into an SC300

Those 1jz prices are ripoffs, decent prices on the other stuff from what I can see (as long as the 2jz prices are for a USDM motor and not a JDM motor)
