Cam gears

Are cam gears worth it? What kind of gains would you generally see? And at what point would you really need them?

I was thinking of maybe picking some up.

I have HKS gears. I bought them basically for looks. Their adjustable, so theres your gain. Everything youll gain comes from the exhaust side, so a lot of people actually only buy one cam gear.

I wouldn't say they're crucial to get for just an average na-t.

yeah I have JUN cam gears and basically just picked them up because I got a good deal on them. They mainly just allow you to have more customization. They say you get anywhere from 5-10 hp gains for the exhaust, but I'm not sure if thats dyno proven or not. The intake maybe gives 1-2 hp. So some people just dont bother buying that one.
