What are your shifing techniques for shifting to 2nd gear?, what works the best for you, especially for those with mid~high hp level NA-T.

I usually shift at red line, shifting quickly and drop the clutch on 1~2shift. It was fine for 305rwhp, but at 400+rwhp, the car simply does a burn out once I shift into second gear, wasting valuable time.

Do you actually slip the clutch during 1~2 shift to prevent excessive wheel spin in 2nd gear?

I find it's best to shift into 2nd gear as quickly as possible. For me, the shift is smoother and I keep my traction better.

you just gotta find what feels smooth with the car.

I see, you shift well before reaching redline in 1st?

I actually like the short gearing on W58, except the 1st gear.

Word, 1st gear is way to short.

1st is too short on the auto sc too.

either that or the auto kicks it down to 2nd way too fast.
