I run a STC Racing Stage2 TT Transmission with a 4k stall converter. Wouldnt have it any other way.
the auto shifter is out of an LS400
Incorrect. The shifter assembly is from the 98 - 00 SC300.
Thanks again.

hey, i recently purchased the vw manifold, what did you do about the throttle cable, how was it ran, and where was it ran too? and what hoses did you connect to the nipples on the bottom? if you can help me out i'd GREATLY appreciate it.

Where did you get the alum. radiator pipe?
SCott300
10-19-2006, 07:19 PM
Where can I get a VW manifold, and how much should i be looking to spend? Also where or what kind of valve/spark plug cover is that?
Basicly, how did you make it look like a 2JZ-GTE, is that the valve cover combo that you used?

SecretSC: Did you do a vvti swap or did you go distributorless? also was it hard to convert you car to the gated shifter? thanks

SecretSC: Did you do a vvti swap or did you go distributorless? also was it hard to convert you car to the gated shifter? thanks
No vvt-i swap here. I swapped in a MK3 CPS in place of the distributor and am using the coil packs and igniter from the 98-00 SC.
The conversion to the gated shifter was fairly straight forward. It did require a couple of extra wires installed, like a speed signal is needed with the new shifter ecu. The toughest part was getting the whole assembly.
SCott300 I ordered my manifold from Titan and am using the GTE valve covers.
craigrhyne The radiator pipe was from Hardpipes.com. It came in 2 pieces, I had it welded into 1 piece. They only made a few for a group buy.
snowfox00x I know the response is late but....I used the throttle cable theat was included with the intake. It bolted in the same location as the stock cable. Installing it was one of the toughest parts of the install. Its cramped working under the dash
You can configure the hoses any way you want. The larger diameter hose is for the brake booster. You will also need one for your heater control valve, BOV and FPR reference.
Hope this helps.

Beautiful car.
A few questions.
Whats seats are those and where did you get the ends to the radiator hardpipe at?
Also how did you color the FPR HKS purple? Anodized it? Or did it come that way?
Thanks.

Thank you.
The seats are Sparco Milanos. The hose ends and most of my other hose couplings/t-bolt clamps were from Verocious Motorsports (http://stores.channeladvisor.com/verociousmotorsports)
The FPR came anodized purple. The brand is Magnafuel.
Some pics of my latest work. Swapped in a 3.4 Stroked TT bottom end, ported & polished head with a HKS 2mm gasket with L19 Studs.

Sorry but you need to swap motors to the black one.
I'm not feeling the gold one.
I know you didn't ask my opinion but I just had to say it. :)
Otherwise nice cars!
I knew I recognized that engine bay... I was just looking at it on the CL forums!!
What's up, Gadget? I didn't know that thing was stroked.

Your SC is amazing.
I know this might of been asked a million times, but could you explain what it took to make your ignition setup to work?
Mk3 CPS, VVTI NA coilpacks/ignitor.
That it? AEM? Stock NA sc300 ecu?
Last of all, what is the "rare earth" cps from dave H that you described.
