i have an obd2 supra and ive been wanting to tune for a long itme now. i will be tuning with the afc (the blue screen), stock hg, stock injectors. how many people are doing this and is it safe for me to boost 7psi. ive seen a lot of obd2 na-t's with lean spikes and i was wondering if there is anyway i can get around it. whats the max hp i can run with the stock injectors. im looking to get new ones eventually.. money is just hard to come by with me.
its hard to tune on obd2 because it keeps undoing the work you did...
best bet from what i heard is to reset the ecu, tune the afc and save those settings... then just reset the ecu every week or so
stock 330cc injectors (debatable on what they actually flow) i've seen at 400whp on stock compression from several different cars and they ran fine... but i personally wouldnt go over 360whp or so... that is of course with an upgraded fuel pump

not if you run emanage ultimate - it self tunes to any AF you want..... I just datalog the OBD2 before I make any changes.... then I set the emanage to self tune and I'm golden.

Im running a T61 on stock injectors with an SAFC2 on 7 lbs.
Going to get it tuned this week, possibly dynoed.. I'll let you know how it works out..
Im OBD1 (1995) though.

Have you done this yet though? I thought there was a problem on the Ultimates. Maybe they fixed it? Please do tell :)

Let me know how that goes. I am doing a very similar setup on my SC3.

I'd like to hear more OBD2 experiences instead of OBD1

here's my expericence...i used AEM :)
i money is hard to come by i'd suggest waiting a little longer or putting your money somewhere else.
i remember waiting reading in SOangel's write up and it said always over calculate or something and have an extra 10K in your pocket. i told myself BS! why another 10k? that's to much i thought i had calculated EVERYTHING and went over it 100 times. i expected to spend from 8k-10k max. i'm going on 20k. :yumyum:
have a nice day.
ps. the max hp you can probably run is like 300hp, but at the same time you'd probably be maxing out your injectors. you should upgrade them

Did you upgrade the fuel pump? I am wondering what the limits are with a stock fuel system
