Anyone have an SC300 with the single exit stock tt exhaust or an aftermarket setup like from XSPower. My SC was bought with two fart cans and have an obnoxious sound and really hate the look of them since they were "c-clamped on" Rather than going to meineke, i would much rather invest in a nice single exit exhaust. Going NA-T soon from XS power in the future but dont want to cut corners either. I read in one post that you can mod a TT exhaust somewhat by hacking or banging on the spare tire well. If so please post pics and how you did the install.
Thanks in Advance

from what i know you have to extend around 6 inches from the cat to the actual supra exhaust...here's my single catback from HKS for the sc300 that is now discontinued...

Anyone have any other pics of the single exhaust on their sc?
Prices?
Manufacturer?
Posts are better with Pictures.

nice pics. If i am going to the exhaust shop to mod this, i am assuming they will create a small 6 inch pipe from the cat and hence bolt the cat back to that peice?

After the shop bolts up the exhaust they will know where to make the modification. It would probably work best if they cut the exhaust in the middle and extend it the required length.

Ahhh, thanks. I understand now. So technically a factory OEM TT catback would work and even an aftermarket one too. Assumingly so --the hangers are still usable. Great I understand

I'll put it this way...an aftermarket exhaust system for the supra will bolt directly to the GE and GTE motor on stock twins.
The problem is that the SC300 is longer in length than the supra so the exhaust will have to be lengthened for it to work.

It's the 3.75" HKS SuperDrager catback from a Supra, had it extended a few inches to bolt up to the factory midpipe location.

This is so encouraging info. I'd been looking for a nice exhaust for the sc but had only come up with maybe 3 or 4. Knowing I could use a Supra exhaust really helps my choices out. Now I just have to figure out which is the biggest quiestest one I can use. Noise and modified exhaust are absolutely stupid in mass. Anyone using the Tanabe Medallion system?
