Nice list of mods. I'm going to have to ask how you got rid of your governor. I can't stand hitting 140 and just sitting at 140 while I know my car wants to just go beyond that.

Its not even related to the standalone, people used to think youd had to have a standalone such as (Haltech E8 which I have), When the car was built(Toyomoto) they removed it for me, and they like to keep their secrects hush hush... :runaway: If I knew how I'd tell you, but I dont... Try My.IS or Clublexus.com for some help on that issue...good luck :ohnoes:

I tried searches, and the only thing I found or already knew is the Apexi Rev Limiter. The question remains is the wiring that I believe a shop may or may not know on an IS300. I'd hate to bring to a car shop and be the guinea pig. Had my fair shares of idiots perform on my S2000, hate to try that again with an IS300.

Trung, go on is300.net and pm "myis300t" his names Tom tell him Peter (boosted_4door) told you about him. I forgot what company he went with but its installed right infront of his gauges, its the size of a avg turbo timer.

Josh without the s/alone the speedo does not work but you can bypass the limiter without one if you don't need your mph.

I know on the 240sx the speed governor, was related to a small tranny plug that needed to be looped - LexIS307, would you mind looking under you car and check for any missing sensor, or cut wires? ;)

How are you keeping cly 5 and 6 from leaning out? does the shaved intake help with that? and what ECU are you using?
