I am well informed on the na-t process, but after speaking to someone local I discovered I could possibly go na-tt for relatively similar costs.
Jdm motor can be obtained for about $2K
and that wiring harness is needed for install.
What else is needed?

What else is needed?I'd suggest getting a complete motor set including the tranny, unless you are going to use your W58. You will need an intercooler, sidemount at minimum. Most likely you will need a downpipe, and then a full exhaust. If you are talking about getting a JDM motor, please make sure it's a supra pull, and not an Aristo. You will have to use your oil pan IIRC........ also the JDM motor has weaker turbos, 440cc fuel system, MAP not MAF, etc. I'd expect a good bit of little things to add up in addition to your rough estimate on the cost of the major parts.

you are looking at 6.5gs just in partsIf all he needs is the GTE motor, then he can get the parts around $3-4k, that is IF he is staying "JDM".

well could stay jdm, and slowly convert over to usdm.
basic goal is to get turbo.

basic goal is to get turbo. If we are talking "basics", why not do a mild na-t setup, I think that would be the best choice..........

hmm basically I was told by a guy with 98 quicksilver hardtop na-> TT swap that entire swap can be done for around 5-6K.
This does not seem bad at all, since say a BL na-t kit costs about 4K.
I need to talk to begone, he has done this swap.
