All I can say is ROLL TIDE :D

Watching the USC game right now and its looking BAD. I've never seen an SEC team manhandled in such a way. Arkansas was supposed to have at least a halfway decent defense... USC is rolling right over it... like the first 4 touches by one of their players resulted in a touchdown after every touch.

Its not so bad... you've got a DAMN GOOD coach... give him a little while. SC has a good offense too... its just that Bama's defense is one of the best, if not THE best in the country.

I forgot to update. In case everyone missed it ;)
Need two excellent performances against LSU and Tennessee and then the national championship will be within their grasp. I think it'd be an incredible game to see bama vs USC.... #1 offense of USC vs #1 defense of the Tide... reminds me of that game back in 1992 ;)

After the tide's one-play first touchdown scoring drive Sunday. "This brings last weekend to mind when Kentucky went up 7-0 against Florida on the first drive. Florida proceeded to come back and score touchdown after touchdown and dominate the rest of the game. Well here today there is one thing for sure...... THIS AINT KENTUCKY!"

ROLL FUCKING TIDE!

haha yeah me too... or any of the teams outside of the SEC and ACC lol...

SEC and ACC in-conference schedules are notoriously tough... one bad day and BOOM you've lost and national title hopes are in the wash.

Problem with USC's play... if they are giving up that many points against mediocre offenses... what would happen if they played an EXCELLENT defensive team with a consistent offense? The way bama played florida last week, they would have beaten USC... sure they would have started coming back in the 2nd half; but it would have been slow enough progress through that #1 defense (they held florida to fucking 3 points!) that they wouldnt catch up

Hmmmm.... do you live in the South?

I'm guessing no lol

I used to be one of "those" too... until I really got into football and realized how much MORE complex and involved it is than soccer.... it requires so much more physical fitness and the play of the game is much more strategy intensive than soccer could ever dream of.

What's the difference between an average football player and an average soccer player? They can run for the same distance in the same amount of time, sprint the same speed, but the football player is 35lbs heavier and is twice as strong.

but the football player is 35lbs heavier and is twice as strong.I've never seen a 6'6 320lbs soccer player.

Not World Cup quality tho? :)
Compare say... Jeremy Shockey... 6'5 253lbs... runs the 40yd dash in 4.4 seconds, can bench press most likely over 450lbs and squat damn near 600-700 and has great endurance (he is an NFL player afterall)

Imagine him slide tackling someone ;) Or better yet playing rugby and knocking people over by bumping into them
