Wtb Electric Fan!!!!

do you have an electric fan for NA-T supra??? if so how much do you want for it? i really need one soon and i keep finding all these overpriced performance fans. i didnt know i needed one, and now im finding out after i spent all this damn money i need it.

The stock fan and clutch work better than any electric fan will.

oh. well then i need to have a little chat with my mechanic then........he says i need to have the U type intercooler with holes on the same side instead of the one i have that has it on oposite sides. ugh. one small thing after another.

If you never plan on doing a front facing intake manifold, than I'd have to say he's right. With the U-shape FMIC, it would cut down on IC piping. With less IC piping, you would have better throttle respone (it would feel more responsive of the line). But on the the fan side of things, the stock fan cools like a mad man. Fans just clean up the engine bay a little. Hope this helps.

On the other hand, the vertical flow intercooler doesnt cool or flow as well as a horizontal flow.
I say get the horizontal flow so you dont have to buy one down the road when you get a FFIM. Not to mention the horizontal flow is dirt cheap these days.

EDIT: I saw you already have a horizontal flow IC. Keep it :)

I dont know if that's true about horizontal having better cooling and flowing abilities than a vertical one. If you look at alot of pro and Nopi drag racing, most of them use a vertical type intercooler. Granted its liquid to air intercooler. That just my opinion. When it comes to what our power goals are, I dont think it really matters (unless your shooting for 500+rwhp). Like LexusFTW said, if you already have just stick with it.

thanks for the responses. looks like he's just a bit lazy. i'll letcha know on that dual electric fan i need a new turbo or one with a vband it looks like.
