I prefer to use one small screen to dispaly all my vital engine parameters instead of several gauges.
Does anyone know how to display a few tuning "Parameters" from AEMPro software on a small Personal Digital Assistant like a color Palm Pilot or Dell Axim like device? I'm referring to the "Parameter" box in AEMPro software that simply shows things like Engine Load (boost), 02 readings, Knock voltage, etc. I would only need to display 5 or 6 of these in the simple bar-graph form as in AemPro version 1. I was thinking of something like the "RunTime Display Screen" on this pocket tune software:

I haven't had any luck with this when I looked a year ago.... the aem output is proprietary and not shared......

I was working on a guy's car here in tulsa and it had some gauge-tech thing in it. I guess it was supposed to display some of the AEM parameters but the thing was such a POS we tossed it. not to mention it was the ugliest electronic display I have ever seen!

I tried using the AEM with a PLX oled display. PLX was unable to decipher the serial data stream the AEM was spitting out. I know it can't be that hard because its serial, but I don't know anyone who's been successful. FYI an AEM 19-1 gauge is only $250 and will show all parameters in one very neat compact package.
I used it and love it because I like to keep the dash very stock looking.

Mark how many functions can you use simultaneously with the AEM Gauge?

I think you can only monitor one function at a time...

It is plugged into the serial port, so it gets a constant data stream. It displays only one of 19 paramaters at a time. It has two buttons to toggle up/down int he menu. Displays bargraph and numeric. You can program alarm functions, so it will jump to an alarming parameter and make a beep if you program it to.
Great gauge.

About 6 years ago there was a guy making LCD displays that would display a whole bunch of parameters (don't recall how many). It was ~$400. If you search the archives on supraforums or mkiv mailing list it's probably still out there.
