Just wanted to introduce myself and my car to everyone. Names Gregg and I am in Houston, born and raised, and work for Toyota. I drive nothing but Toy's and have done so since '85.

My 1st Toy was an '85 Corolla GTS, then a '85 MR2, then a '88 MR2, then a '92 MR2 Turbo and to keep it company I bought an'87 MR2.
I have always loved Supra's since the very 1st Celica/Supra and the engines in them.
What all this means is where it has lead me to my current vehicle which I just
bought but am awaiting delivery which has been postponed because of Hurricane Rita.

Its a 1995 Lexus SC300 with a 2JZGTE engine swap, here are a few pics and a list of the mods.

Those are the only two pictures I've ever seen of that car... the original seller's pictures. Are there not anymore?

As I stated above I have not taken delivery of the car yet do to the hurricane, the car is coming from South Carolina to Houston, hence the delay.

Here are a few more of the car although these were also taken by the person I bought it from

Chris,
A lip and a wing are gonna be the very first things I do to the car. I will eventually do a 6-speed swap, most likely sooner than later do to the W58's wekpoints, as the car has a TT LSD already in it.

As for as the tips, I assume you mean the exhuast, I am going to go single also.

I will get updated pics for everyone asap ok.

GreggFor some reason I thought this car already had a 6-spd? I meant lip wing as the 92-96 SC400 rear wing, not a front bumper lip, but that would look good too. I'd keep it dual, it's a little more quiet. My friend's T-67 car has dual Borla 3" all the way, nice chrome tips. You wouldn't know it had 200hp until he gets into it. Very nice, quiet ride. Good luck..

I wish it was a 6-speed then I would not have to worry about breaking the tranny. I'm just gonna be careful and not dog it until I can save up for the 6-speed swap.
Oh yah the '92-'96 rear wing is what I want and here is a pic of the front spoiler I want or one like it,http://www.msprotege.com/members/spoolinmp3/SV400422.JPG

Yah I am kinda worried about breaking the tranny as I have heard that 400rwhp is about all the w58 will take and there is a guy running a completely stock Supra TT but with the T78 like mine and he is getting 450rwhp at only 15psi!

My friend's T67 Lexus @ 16.5lbs shredded his 3rd gear, but the tranny was high mileage.

What is consider'd high mileage? My chassis and tranny have 104K on them.

Anything over 100K I assume needs to be "treaded on lightly" so to speak. I guess how much abuse the tranny was submitted to from the previous owners must also be taken into consideration also.

PS, I'll be joining the CHAMPAGNE ROOM also VERY soon. ;)
