another stupid but curious question. i know 1jz auto ecu works on the 1jz 5spd, however would it work on the 1.5jz setup? from what i was told about the 1jz auto to 1jz 5spd is that the tranny does not use the ecu (something like that). i am assuming i could since it would work if it was a complete 1jz, BUT I AM USING THE W58 TRAN. that's why i am asking. Thanx in advance.
